Members of the Undergraduate Business Council serve as representatives for all business students throughout the university. We bring over 50 events centered around careers, academics, and the McCombs community. Learn even more about who we are by reading about our mission and meeting our members.

The official McCombs Spring Case Competition, sponsored by ConocoPhillips, kicked off on April 7, 2014 with 25 teams participating in the competition.


On April 12th, the Undergraduate Business Council (UBC) was featured as a contesting act in the Texas Revue Talent Show. UBC performed “Surviving the Grade”, a musical hatched from the minds and hearts of Hortencia Campbell and her phenomenal committee, to spread the precious gift of comedic fulfillment. 



This year’s BBA Legacy Campaign has been a huge success and the committee could not be more grateful for all of the support we have received from the leaders of the McCombs School of Business. BBA Legacy is a student-run student giving campaign designed to create a culture of giving in McCombs so that we will continue to give back to our school after we graduate from the Forty Acres.



On March 25, Thomas Hortons from the American Airlines was featured as the Distinguished Speaker for the VIP event hosted by the Undergraduate Business Council. Mr. Hortons encouraged students to live by their values and principles in all that they do, no matter what challenges come their way. 


On March 26, 2014 the BBA Legacy Campaign Committee hosted its brand-new campaign event, Midnight Munchies. The intention of Midnight Munchies was to increase awareness of the BBA Legacy Campaign, while reaching out to the diverse group of students that study in McCombs.
