VIP Distinguished Speaker Series
The VIP Distinguished Speaker Series is the Dean’s official lecture series at the McCombs School of Business. Top executives from the world’s leading businesses are invited to share their Views, Insights & Perspectives with future business leaders through their own inspiring stories. Held throughout the academic year, this program has brought many esteemed executives to McCombs including: Jeff Immelt, Chairman and CEO of General Electric; Kenneth Chenault, CEO of American Express; Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo; Michael Dell, Founder and CEO of Dell; and James Mulva, CEO of ConocoPhillips. This is one of the Undergraduate Business Council’s most prestigious programs and is known across the university and the nation.
The VIP Distinguished Speaker Series is divided into two segments: a 30 minute interview with one of the deans of the McCombs School of Business and a 30 minute open Q&A from the audience. Some executives also have a “meet and greet” with students after the event.
