Do you have what it takes to be competitive in today's global market place? Spend your summer at the McCombs School of Business and participate in the four week Global Business Leadership Institute. You'll learn business concepts, gain confidence in decision-making and develop your leadership skills. And you'll do all that as part of a team made up of McCombs students and students from top-ranked international business schools - right here at McCombs.

Business - just do it!

The unique part of our program is the hands-on experience. Marketplace Live™, a cutting-edge online business simulation, will challenge you and your team to make realistic marketing and business decisions in a competitive, international market.  Learning by doing lets you internalize concepts and gives you the one thing you won't get from even the best lecture: experience!

Your global network - expand it!

In your management class, you'll discover cultural dynamics and explore international leadership styles. Your team members come from all corners of the globe. You'll meet and make friends with fellow students and potential future executives from four continents and top-ranked universities. Learn how to manage cultural differences through teamwork and fun activities inside and outside of the classroom. At the end of the program you will be a global player.

Your summer - spend it at McCombs!

Visits to local companies, guest speakers from dynamic companies, and cultural activities around Austin round out the program. For more information on how to apply, credits, eligibility/prerequisites etc., please visit the Global Business Leadership Institute website or contact our program coordinator Maria Terrazas at
