Year One - Fall
Your journey begins on the UT Austin campus with the Austin Intensive Seminar, an opportunity to meet your new classmates, rub elbows with the McCombs faculty, and launch your studies in the heart of the Texas MBA Program.
The rest of your first fall semester in Dallas will focus on building your foundational business knowledge. This comprises five courses, which include:
Business Integrity; Financial Accounting; Statistics; Financial Management; and Financial Statement Analysis.
Year One - Spring

Your second semester in Dallas/Fort Worth builds upon the first, as you dive into the next phase of our core curriculum. This includes five new classes:
Leading People & Organizations, Business Analytics & Decision Modeling, Valuation, Managerial Microeconomics, and Marketing Management.
Summer Semester
Escape the summer heat by continuing your Texas MBA journey with a slightly lighter—but more nuanced—semester of classes:
Operations Management; Project Management; Managerial Macroeconomics; Directed Studies in Global Management; and Strategies in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Year Two - Fall

Congratulations! You’re more than halfway toward your Texas MBA degree. In your second fall semester, you’ll once again visit the campus for an Austin Intensive Seminar. Your course schedule begins to develop laser focus, including the following classes:
Strategic Management, Corporate Finance & Financial Markets, Analytics & Applications in Marketing, and Managerial Accounting.
Year Two - Spring

As you approach the finish line of your Texas MBA degree, you’ll take advanced classes that prepare you to for the major career boost you’ll experience upon graduation:
Legal Environment of Business, Topics in Strategic Marketing, Art & Science of Negotiations, Strategies for a Networked Economy, and Leading for Impact.
