Gone to Business is an annual new student welcome event hosted by the BBA Program Office.

Gone To Business 2024

Join us at the McCombs School of Business for Gone to Business! This open house is designed to introduce incoming students to our vibrant McCombs community. You will have the opportunity to meet Dean Mills, engage with our student organizations, learn more about all the business majors, and interact with professionals from our sponsor, H-E-B. Stop by for some fun activities, snacks, and surprise giveaways!

Undergraduate Freshman and Transfer Students - Incoming Class of 2028

 

 

5:30PM - Check-In Begins

Check In begins at McCombs school of business entrance - please be on time as long lines are expected.

 

6:00 - 7:00PM - Departmental Meetings

Attend a departmental meeting to learn more about the various majors within that department and meet our incredible faculty. There will be two sessions, one held at 6:00PM and one at 6:30PM.

6:00 - 8:00PM - Gone To Business Resource Fair

Location: 2nd and 3rd floor CBA and GSB hallways and offices

The resource fair will be a great opportunity to learn more about the various student organizations, centers, and resources around McCombs and to meet our wonderful students and staff!

 

8:00 - 10:00PM - Gone To Texas

Welcome New Longhorns! 
We will walk over together as a school to the UT tower starting at 8:00PM to celebrate all new Longhorns at the Gone to Texas event which starts at 8:30PM. Students can follow volunteers out the 3rd floor exit to walk to the tower.
