CBHP Management: Summer Program
Copenhagen, Denmark is a unique city, characterized by its canals, cycling culture, strong economy, and happy locals.

Why Management in Copenhagen?
It has been called the happiest city in the world, due to its shorter workdays, free college tuition and generous vacation time. This 'City of Fairytales' was once home to Hans Christian Andersen - memorialized in the beloved Little Mermaid statue. Other Danish highlights include Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn, and several gorgeous palaces and museums. This program is hosted in partnership with DIS, a non-profit study abroad foundation that has built enriching educational programs in Scandinavia since 1959. The Canfield BHP Management faculty-led program is designed exclusively for CBHP students. Students will earn MAN 336H honors credit in a course taught by McCombs faculty, and take a second course taught by our partner school faculty.

Visa & Passport Info

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the study abroad trip.

Texas Global Passport Services can process passport applications.

U.S. passports are taking an exceptionally long time to be processed. If you are even considering a study abroad program and you do not have a passport (or your passport will expire within 6 months of the end of your program), you should apply for one now.

U.S. citizens travelling to Copenhagen will not require a visa to study in Denmark.

Depending on nationality, non-U.S. citizens may or may not require a visa.

View requirements for each nationality

It is the student’s responsibility to research specific requirements for their nationality, and to apply for their visa (if necessary). At the student’s request, we will provide additional program-related documentation to support their visa application, such as an official letter, enrollment status at UT, housing, and insurance coverage.

Students are also encouraged to request formal documentation of student enrollment status from the UT Registrar’s Office and are required to notify Texas Global of their travel plans.
